As a nod to the music group Young Kingz, of which Mike Towers is a founding member, he changed the first letter from the i into an Y in 2017. Myke Towers, a Puerto Rican rapper who has been within the rap scene since the age of a teenager, published his first freestyles and compositions on the SoundCloud page. His songs from 2014 Dia de cobro Por Mi Es Normal and En los Bloques made him famous. The freestyle he performed, La Nueva Droga, and his rendition of Drake's original track "0 to 100" also attracted attention in the world of urban music.
