Harry Edward Styles - also called Harry Styles - is a British musician and composer. Harry Styles has been credited as composing songs for the One Direction band. The band is based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive Schools Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School was the founder of a band called White Eskimo together with three of his fellow students. After winning the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to their outstanding performance, the band also took part in the 2010 Battle of Bands. He always showed an interest in music. However, he was enthused to be an attorney or a physical therapy. When he worked at the city's baker Harry Styles managed to feed his family. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition where he sang the Stevie Wonder's track Is not She Lovely. His band was forced to disband due to this. The audition was held on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles would be a part of the group that was to be named One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group and they were formed in 2010. They performed the song Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You together with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. As a result, they were among the finalist. However they were placed third in the third place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group and Cowell didn't get the win in the contest. However, Cowell provided Harry Styles a 2 million dollar contract with Syco.
